Teasoo Consulting Driving Sustainable Impact in the Tree4Life Reforestation Project
As Consultant and Project Manager to Seplat Energy on the Tree4Life Reforestation Project, Teasoo Consulting Limited is proud to support a landmark collaboration between Seplat and the Edo State Government to reforest 6,000 hectares of degraded forest reserves across Edo State.
Progress So Far:
In 2024, the pilot phase saw the successful planting of over 30,000 seedlings.
In the ongoing 2025 planting season, more than 50,000 seedlings have already been planted , bringing the total to over 80,000 trees so far.
Yesterday, July 28, 2025, our team joined the Chairman of the Edo State Forestry Commission on an inspection tour of the project from nurseries to planting sites. He expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, commended Seplat’s leadership, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to this important initiative.
But this project isn’t just about trees; it’s about sustainability, livelihoods, and inclusive development. As part of our advisory support, Teasoo facilitated the distribution of food tree seedlings to local communities, reinforcing the shared goal of food security and economic empowerment alongside climate action.
